We are looking to engage with high performing top talent individuals with experience and exposure to world class project deliveries.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership to the renewable fuels project, overseeing all aspects of delivery including operations, budgeting etc in line with the Projects objectives.
- Work with the CEO to nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies, industry partners, and investors, to drive business expansion and advocacy for renewable fuels.
- Assist with financial management, budgeting, and cost control measures to ensure the projects financial health and sustainability.
- Monitor industry regulations and policy changes, adapting business strategies to maintain compliance and seize new opportunities.
- Lead negotiations for partnerships, contracts, and agreements to support the projects growth and strategic objectives.
- Provide regular reports to the CEO and other key stakeholders on the projects performance, challenges, and future plans.
Skills and experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the renewable energy or fuels sector.
- Experience in delivering innovative petrochemical or oil & gas projects within tight timeframe and budget constraints
- Experience in building and leading high-performance teams.
- Ability to navigate complex business challenges and make informed decisions.
- Strong understanding of renewable fuels technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory landscape.
- Demonstrated success in business development, sales, and strategic planning.
- Familiarity with the Australian energy market and regulatory environment.
This is an initial 5 month term linked to project check-points with potential ongoing engagement of 12, then 36 month potential as the project progresses. You will be joining a fast paced environment in a role that you can make your own. As a senior leader, your performance will be key in the successful advancement of the development.
This role would suit a contractor with key project milestones which where met will result in an ongoing employment relationship. ABN holders highly regarded however employment on a fixed term basis will be considered for the right individual.
