Bellarine Lakes Resort Golf Club is a private, residents only, picturesque 9-hole, Golf Australia affiliated, Golf Course, encompassing Reedy Lakes and nestled amongst the Bellarine Lakes Country Club in Moolap.

We are in search of an experienced turf professional to fill the significant position of Golf Course Greenkeeper at the Bellarine Lakes Resort Golf Course.

Reporting directly to the Greenkeeper supervisor, your role will encompass the upkeep of every facet of the Golf Course. If you possess keen attention to detail, harbor a love for golf, and are in pursuit of a full-time role within a supportive and encouraging atmosphere, we eagerly anticipate receiving your application.                        

• Certificate III Sports Turf Management is essential.
• A solid understanding of Golf Course maintenance and horticulture with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
• A good understanding of Irrigation Systems and mechanical knowledge.
• High attention to detail and organisation skills.
• Ability to be proactive, working as part of a small team and autonomously.
• Sound understanding of OHS practices and procedures.
• Current chemical spraying accreditation with a solid understanding of chemicals including insecticides, herbicides and application thereof.
• Current Australian drivers’ licence. 

• You will be required to work Monday to Friday 6:30am – 2:30pm, with no weekend shifts required. 
• Bunker, rough, fairway and general Golf Course maintenance.
• Watering greens, tees, and fairways and irrigation maintenance.
• Operate and perform general maintenance of plant and equipment for safe and effective functioning.
• Pest identification, disease management and control.
• Be proactive in all safety training with strict adherence with OH&S practices and procedures.
• Work with the Greenkeeper supervisor and volunteers to constantly improve the Golf Course, club grounds, maintenance facility and safety programs. 
• Support in preparing the Golf Course for competitive rounds and recreational play.
