Responsibilities:
- Oversight of councils Audit and Risk Management programs including internal audit, the Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee, councils risk management program and insurances and premiums.
- Implement early intervention of claims with a view to limiting Council’s exposure.
- Manage Council’s insurance portfolio to ensure that Council is adequately protected.
- 2+ years experience in Audit and Risk position or similar
- Previous experience in leading successful internal audits
- Local council experience will be highly regarded
