Our dynamic Risk and Resilience team are currently seeking skilled enterprise risk professionals to join us working in a complex and diverse organisation in the Senior Risk Officerrole.
About the role
As the Senior Risk Officer, you will support the Manager, Risk and Resilience to operationalise and drive continuous improvement of the Department’s Risk Management framework. Taking a Line 2 role in support of Line 1, you will provide expert advice and support for effective risk management across the department, working with stakeholders to identify and monitor key exposures, improve control environments, and implement mitigation activities in areas such as:
- Climate change risk
- Compliance
- Fraud and corruption risk
- Operational risk management; and
You will also support the design and implementation of initiatives, partnering with stakeholders to build risk management awareness and maturity within the Department.
About You
To be successful in this role you will be an experienced professional in enterprise and operational risk management who is well-versed in risk management frameworks as well as industry practice standards. You have outstanding stakeholder engagement and influencing skills and can effectively partner with stakeholders across a diverse portfolio.
You will ideally have experience supporting a business in enhancing their risk management and organisational resilience and will be able to propose innovative ideas to drive the continuous improvement of risk and resilience methodologies across the organisation.
