The OpportunityOne of our clients is looking for a Governance/Contracts Management Officer to support governance and compliance administration activities. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, administer day-to-day governance and compliance tasks, and assist the team with panel management tasks.All candidates applying for this position must be an Australian Citizen and have a current Baseline Security Clearance.
Key responsibilities include:- Undertake Seller compliance activities with limited supervision, performing corrective actions and resolve issues as they arise.
- Assist with Seller management, including internal approval minutes, running reports, and emailing Sellers.
- Provide administrative and secretariat support, and document preparation.
- Contribute to the team's mandate of continual improvement to optimise governance and risk management.
- Manage relationships with Buyers, Sellers, and internal Stakeholder.
To be successful in this role, you will need:- Experience in administration, procurement, contract management, or governance is desirable.
- Some understanding of the policies that apply to Australian Government procurement and contracts management, including the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and PGPA Act.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Good Stakeholder engagement skills with a positive and flexible approach to problem-solving.
- Be adaptable and resilient, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise delivery of outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
