your opportunity
As a Governance, Risk & Compliance Coordinator, you will assist and support in the identification, assessment, management and reporting of operational level risk and aid the progression of a risk aware culture. You will partner with the business to maintain and contribute to the improvement of risk and governance related systems, processes, procedures, tools & training resources. Working within the Office of the CEO, you’ll enjoy a close connection to our senior leadership team, providing an opportunity to exert influence throughout the organisation.
In this position, you will:• proactively provide advice on managing risk and compliance during change and business operations• report on new or changed risks by monitoring external industry and market changes, and internal trends• drive and oversee the completion of corrective actions to mitigate risk and ensure compliance• support critical governance functions such as document and records management, handling of incidents and feedback, and board reporting• lead by example and champion yourtown values

If this resonates with you, this could be the role you’ve been looking for!The right candidate for this role will have:• Tertiary qualifications and two or more years’ experience in a risk management, policy, and/or a compliance-related role. Alternatively, candidates with four years of experience in a risk management, policy, legal, or compliance position are encouraged to apply.• Well-developed interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to influence and liaise across a diverse range of stakeholders.• Strong written communication skills with proven skills in writing reports, briefings, and procedures with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.• Strong critical thinking and analysis skills, combined with a keen attention to detail when operating within tight deadlines and successfully handling conflicting priorities.
