Ideally positioned opposite Robina Public Hospital, Robina Private Hospital is the first and only private hospital to locate within the Robina Health Precinct and within close proximity to the precinct’s existing, extensive public services. Robina Private Hospital is a 90 bed private hospital with three specialist mental health and rehabilitation wards along with consultancy, outpatient, mental health and day rehabilitation programs and day surgery services.
The role:
Robina Private Hospital is seeking a GP and Consumer Liaison Officer to focus on internal and external liaison and relationship development and hospital promotion and engagement along with the development of strategic partnerships that work proactively to build brand awareness and reputational excellence. Exceptional interpersonal skill and verbal and written communication skills are required and a passion for the hospital and the community is essential. The role requires an energetic and self-motivated individual how has the ability to work both individually and as a team player with a strong work ethic, effective follow through and a strong knowledge of the healthcare industry is required. Meetings and events outside of regular business hours will be necessary on occasion.
Key Role function :
- Maintain data base of referrals and compile reports on trends as required
- Promote Robina Private Hospital within the local and wider community
- Facilitate and co-ordinate promotional functions within the hospital
- Liaise with other health services and referral sources
- Maintain liaison between Robina Private Hospital, local PHN, Public Sector and other parties
Additional Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organisation and its key consumers
- Current driver’s license and own vehicle essential
- Available to do some evening promotional work
- Knowledge or experience in the healthcare industry
- Strong skills in email campaigns, database management and use of Canva
Desirable:
- Confidence in dealing with experienced health professionals
- Willingness to develop marketing and public relations skills
