Access theTell me more...Act as a liaison between the Health Service, the Department of Health and other Government representatives and local members of parliament to ensure effective and efficient management and coordination of compliments and complaints, or areas of concern regarding patient care, and service provision to achieve the best possible outcome for all parties in a timely manner.To be successful in this role you will have:
- Prepare responses to Ministerial, HSCE and Department of Health requests for information, including the drafting and coordination of correspondence, briefings and submissions within strict timeframes. These include but are not limited to Senior Department Liaison Officer advice, Possible Parliamentary Questions, Hot Issues, Estimates, Travel, Community Cabinet and Contentious Issues briefs.
- Provide advice and assistance to the Executive Leadership Team on liaison with MPs, other government departments, non-government and community organisations and interest groups, ensuring that corporate policies, protocols and standards are followed.
- Liaise with key stakeholders in the management of all related issues, including the Department of Health, elected officials, other government agencies, local authorities, community organisations, health consumers and senior staff across the Health Service area, to discuss areas of concern.
- Base comprising salary between $117,824.00- $126,212.00 per annum

- It is a mandatory condition of employment in this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment: measles, mumps, rubella, varicella (chicken pox), pertussis (whooping cough) hepatitis B.
