SalaryWe are seeking GPs with ideally >5 years post-fellowship experience to join our growing organisation.
You will work alongside a caring, thorough, wholistic team of GPs, Psychologists, Nurses and Aboriginal Health Practitioners working in a trauma informed environment to provide comprehensive primary care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and families.
We can offer full time or negotiable part time hours to the right candidate(s). This is a salaried position with all the financial benefits of salaried employment:
- 244K per annum pro rata
- PLUS 11.5 % superannuation,
- PLUS 4 weeks paid annual leave and paid sick leave,
- PLUS ~$17K salary packaging per annum,
- PLUS up to $3K CPD funding support (pro rata),
- PLUS regular team meetings, doctors meetings, case conferences, Balint group meetings, daily huddles, first aid/CPR, cultural awareness training, 2 day organisation conference and dinner, and more,
- PLUS long appointments and scheduled admin time,
- PLUS on site psychology for your patients,
- PLUS full Nursing and Aboriginal Health Practitioner support.
This total package equates to >$300K value per year for a full time position with NO WEEKENDS OR EVENINGS!
We offer opportunities to teach, lead, contribute to preventive health initiatives, supervise registrars and support the development of Australia's future Indigenous health workforce. The clinic is in Thomastown and is 19AB exempt for overseas trained doctors.
This is a rare opportunity as our turnover of doctors is very low.
