About the role
This role would suit a Speech Pathologist with great team working skills, looking for a role with good support and opportunities for development!
We are a dedicated, supportive and aspirational team, looking for staff who can contribute to our strong team culture, high patient focus and drive for high standards of Speech Pathology care.
As a Grade 1 Speech Pathologist you will be supported to become responsible for providing high quality patient care across, acute and sub-acute inpatient clinical settings. As a member of the speech pathology team, the Grade 1 Speech Pathologist will be required to assess, plan, recommend and implement a wide range of Speech Pathologist support to inpatients recovering from, for example, trauma, surgery, acute illness or neurological deficits.
We have a focus on developing staff to achieve their interests and career goals through quality improvement projects and emerging specialisations.

We are looking for
- Strengths in team working with a collaborative approach across the MDT and with patients and families
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia
- Experience in the management of adults with disorders of communication and swallowing within a hospital setting
- New graduates are welcome to apply
