Join our Works & Infrastructure Branch as a Grader Operator. We’re seeking an experienced, skilled operator with expertise in heavy equipment operation and a keen eye for detail. Enjoy working in a supportive environment with a chance to contribute to exciting projects.

Position Objectives
The officer will be responsible for:

• The operation of a grader for unsealed road and sealed road construction and maintenance works. This position is part of Works and Engineering Services Unit based at the MRCC Red Cliffs Depot.
  

Qualifications and Experience
Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:

• Current Heavy Rigid Drivers Licence.
• Extensive experience in road construction and maintenance techniques
• Certificates of competency or licenses to operate a grader and other plant associated with civil construction works
• Extensive experience in the operation of road construction and maintenance equipment
• Experience in supervising a work team A current satisfactory Police Check or willing to obtain one.
  

Salary and Conditions
The position is classified within Band 4D of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement with $73,299.20 per annum plus industry allowance, maintenance allowance and statutory superannuation.
