The Client
Our client is a reputable boutique accounting firm located in Melbourne, specialising in providing top-notch business advisory and tax solutions to businesses, individuals, and partnerships. The firm is known for its close-knit team, commitment to excellence in client services, and a strong belief in fostering the professional growth of its staff through ongoing internal training.
Their office is located in a great location where you will be close to some great restaurants, bars and cafes and have ample free parking!
The Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Accountant to join the firm on a full-time basis due to significant growth. This will initially be a 2 month temp role then made permanent based on your performance.
Duties:

• Bookkeeping
• Data Entry
• Bank Reconciliation
• Liaising with the ATO
• Learning about ASIC, Companies, Entities and Corporate Structures ie (Trusts)

About You:

• Recent graduate or possessing up to one year of experience, prepared to kickstart a career in public practice accounting
• Eager to work with advanced cloud accounting software, with a preference for experience in MYOB or Xero
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Must have can do attitude and a drive to be successful in the role
