Graduate Accountant

CJD Equipment are seeking a motivated and switched-on Graduate Accountant to join our expanding Finance team. This role will play a fundamental part within our team, delivering a range of services to the business as you develop and grow your skills, and would ideally suit a recent graduate. 

If successful in this opportunity, you will be learning all the primary aspects of our finance department -

• Credit control, accounts payable, taxation, end-of-month reporting, ad-hoc projects, management accounting, FBT, insurance, fixed assets and inventory management
• Supporting senior accountant and finance management with providing financial reports as required
• Supporting the branch network with financial queries and general administration duties
• Assisting in external financial audits
• Support and demonstrate safe work practices at all times

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following skills and attributes -

• Degree qualified in Accounting 
• Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to relate to a diverse range of people
• Excellent organisation, planning and time management skills
• Ability to prioritise workload
• Effective team skills and ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong attention to detail
