Due to our continued success, we are seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to support our experienced team in delivering our projects in the Bowen Basin. If you want to work for a reputable company and be a part of an ever-growing team; apply NOW!
As aGraduate Civil Engineer, your role will include but not be limited to:
- Directly supporting the Project Managers, Operations Manager and Managing Director
- Controlling and producing cost ratios, budgets and planning strategies for projects
- Daily cost tracking, production tracking and project procurement
- Managing Quality Assurance
- Project management; actively involved in all stages of the project, input and advice into project designs, as well as day to day project management
- Providing timely and accurate advice and solutions
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships
- Help support and manage Supervisors and Site Engineers
- Tendering projects as required
To be successful you will need:
- An uncompromising commitment to safety in all aspects from tendering to delivery
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or Bachelor of Engineering (Construction)
- Advanced Microsoft office skills with exposure to Microsoft Project
- Manual Drivers Licence, CBM and Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills
- A commitment to excellence and not afraid of the work required to achieve it
- To be willing to travel within the Bowen basin and work away on site as required
- Have a “can do” attitude when it comes to problem solving and teamwork.
