- This full-time permanent position is based in our new Perth headquarters overlooking the beautiful Elizabeth Quay.
As a Graduate Commercial Engineer, you will assist in developing project-level cost estimation, planning, and technical input into Subsea Services tenders. You will develop and maintain internal databases of tendering activities, client details, and internal databases of key supplier information. You will have the opportunity to participate in tender kick-off meetings, technical review meetings, and multi-functional meetings when required.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Science based degree, or alternatively;
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce.
- Proven work experience in a relevant industry role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Excel
- Demonstrable analytical capabilities
- A team-orientated, hard-working, enthusiastic mind-set.
- Self-motivated – ability to interpret what is required and actively undertake tasks with supervision.
- Have a genuine desire to develop competencies both project engineering and cost estimating.
- Be detail focused with high standards in quality of own work.
- Exhibit strong teamwork skills – displaying a well-developed initiative to be proactive.
- Initiate action and adapted to change.
- Ability to prioritise work and deliver work in a timely manner.
- Ability to communicate to clients in a professional and respectful manner.
