We specialise in commercial office fit-out and central plant infrastructure upgrade projects, with a typical project value ranging from $100k - $5.0 m.
With continuing company growth, an exciting new role has become available for an experienced Mechanical Services Design Engineer to join our Construction Division.
The role comprises of the design of mechanical & HVAC services for commercial office fit out & central plant / critical infrastructure upgrade.
Job tasks and responsibilities
- Complete fit for purpose mechanical services designs
- Assist the Estimating Team by evaluating and improving designs for cost effectiveness
- Scope, procure and manage outsources of related engineering disciplines & drafting
- Support the Construction Manager in interpreting design documentation
- Represent Ambient Mechanical Services at meetings with clients and project stakeholders
Skills and experience
- BE Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years post graduate experience
- A collaborative and team-focused approach
- High level of personal motivation and ability to spearhead initiatives
- Experience working with a HVAC contractor is preferred
