A Leading Government Organisation involved in Nuclear and Life Science Research. This is an opportunity to gain valuable experience supporting research projects in collaboration with a number of national and global partners. The company is based in south Sydney.
Duties:
- Design process equipment, pilot plants and apparatus for experiments.
- Develop experimental programs and process designs.
- Analyse, summarise and interpret experimental data.
- Present technical information and reports to project managers.
- Troubleshoot pilot plant equipment and processes.
- Generate reports and technical notes.
Skills/experience:
- Tertiary qualification in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related discipline
- Australian citizenship required
- Report and technical writing skillset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dedicated team
- Chemical engineering, hydrometallurgy, and laboratory work experience – highly regarded
