We are looking for a Graduate Engineer to join our Site Acquisition, Environment & Design (SAED) teams in Townsville. This role is open to graduates with Electrical, Civil, Structural, or Telecommunications Engineering degrees. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Desktop analysis on site selection
- Site Survey/Inspections
- Overhead power line design & modelling
- Drafting using Autocad
- Liaising with electrical authorities, councils, clients and internal engineers
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- A University Degree in Electrical, Civil, Structural, or Telecommunications Engineering
- Outstanding written and interpersonal communication skills
- Willingness to undertake site visits (metro/remote locations)
- Strong organisational ability and work ethic
- Motivation, energy, and innovation
- AutoCAD experience (desirable)
- Legal entitlement to work in Australia
- Current Local State Driver's License
