The role
We are currently seeking a graduate to work within our investment team on a full-time basis. The role is broad. All of our investment team members are generalists and are exposed to all parts of the investment consulting process.
A typical day would include:
- Working with clients to ensure their investment requirements are met. This may mean contributing to ensuring their portfolios are working for them and their clients, are well structured for the current economic and market environment or responding to ad-hoc queries
- Meeting with fund managers and undertaking fund analysis, assessment and monitoring
- ESG assessment of funds
- Contributing to the various projects being undertaken by the firm, including ongoing development of our portfolio analysis tools, client communications and other ad-hoc projects.
The skills we expect a potential employee to have are:
- A strong interest in investment broadly, financial markets and investment consulting
- An ability to work autonomously and independently, but within a very supportive team environment
- High level of literacy and numeracy
- An ability to manage relationships with clients and fund managers
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
