Due to increase in projects, we are seeking an enthusiastic Graduate IT Administrator, who is eager to learn, open-minded, and not afraid to ask questions, to join our growing IT team.
THE ROLE
This position is responsible for providing support to the IT team members that are overseeing and maintaining all aspect of company computer infrastructure.
- Provide friendly, prompt, practical IT support to company staff.
- Log all support issues in our ticketing system.
- Triage support issues to determine priority.
- Label newly arrived computers and equipment and update asset register.
- Wipe computer assets being disposed of/decommissioned.
- Setup of new computers and other IT hardware.
- Assist with IT project work.
- Assist with review and payment of IT related invoices.
- Assist in the provision of training to users where required.
- Assist with procurement of hardware, licenses of company software and service agreements of 3rd party providers.
- Assist with ensuring company mobile devices are operating effectively.
- Drive to sites and provide IT support as required.
- Provide IT improvement suggestions/solutions.
- Work closely with the IT Administrators to provide assistance where required.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
- Completion of Computer Science Degree or similar.
- IT systems and network administration support within a business environment (Highly regarded).
- Current unrestricted "C" Class WA Manual Drivers Licence.
- Good working knowledge of networking systems.
- Unique problem solving and creative thinking abilities.
- Proactivity to ensure the management and resolution of queries.
- Ability to collaborate and work closely with the team in Perth and on-site.
- Tenacity and drive to learn whilst on the job.
