You will be exposed to a wide variety of accounting and taxation responsibilities across our diverse client base.
Duties include:
- Preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, Partnerships, Trusts and Companies.
- Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS)
- Assisting with the preparation of tax advice and planning
- Collaboration with other specialist departments (audit and assurance, compliance, investment, superannuation) to provide additional services and advice to clients
- Assist clients with budgeting and cashflow projections, interim and management accounts
Ideally, you would be studying towards or recently attained membership with CPA or ICA and looking to establish your career. You must also demonstrate:
- Experience in previous roles preparing financial statements
- Solid understanding of tax and accounting fundamentals
- Xero & MYOB software experience
- Xero XPM experience
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and time management
- Confidence in communicating with clients and colleagues at all levels with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of initiative and a pro-active approach
