AddressOur client located in Hawthorn are seeking a dedicated Entry-Level aspiring Mortgage Broker to join their team of experienced Mortgage Brokers. In this role, you will assist in preparing, processing and settling mortgage applications. This includes liaising with clients and lenders, updating CRMs and databases as well as providing aftermarket support to ensure a smooth and efficient process for our clients.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist Mortgage Brokers in preparing and processing mortgage applications and related paperwork.
- Manage and organize loan applications, documentation and files.
- Maintain and update client databases, CRMs and records.
- Aid in documenting and concluding loan settlements.
- Follow up with clients to gather necessary information and documentation.
- Act as an additional point of contact for clients, providing information and answering inquiries related to loan applications.
- Assist Mortgage Brokers with the preparation of sales presentations and proposals.
- Liaise with lenders, underwriters and other third parties to facilitate the mortgage approval process.
- Coordinate internal communications to ensure alignment between sales and other departments.
- Support the marketing team in creating and distributing promotional materials.
About you:
- A Diploma in Finance or Mortgage Broking Management, or industry experience, is not required but would be an advantage.
- Ability to learn continuously and independently, with a willingness to attend offsite training with Aggregators occasionally.
- Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
- Analytical and a good eye for detail.
- Be able to identify and resolve problems promptly.
- Works well in a team setting and enjoys working with others.
- Adapts to changes in the work environment with the ability to manage competing demands.
- Be able to engage well with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work with various CRM and Loan Processing systems, along with the MS Office suite.
