What we're after
We are currently looking for someone to join our busy debt recovery and insurance litigation practice group.
Qualifications and Experience
- Graduate Lawyer/Lawyer with 0-5 years PQE experience in litigation and dispute resolution.
- Experience in debt recovery or motor vehicle property damage and loss of use/income claims is advantageous.
- The ability to work autonomously and in a team.
- Experience using LEAP is advantageous.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Carriage of motor vehicle property damage and loss of use/income claims before local courts in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland.
- Carriage of debt recovery matters before local courts in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland.
- Appearing at pre-trial reviews, call-overs and assessment hearings before the Local Court of New South Wales.
- Telephone appearances in pre-hearing and settlement conferences before the Magistrates' Court of Victoria and the Magistrates' Court of Queensland.
