We understand that to make change you must think differently and work differently…
The Public Sector Commission is on a mission to create an innovative and future fit public sector for all Western Australians.
And we’re on the hunt for 2 people to begin their careers with us through our Graduate Program.
You just need to have graduated with a uni degree in 2022 or 2023, or are due to graduate in 2024, and are inquisitive, collaborative, action oriented, a deep thinker and clear communicator.
Graduates from all disciplines are encouraged to apply, however those with degrees in disciplines related to human resources management or disciplines that provide data/statistical research and analysis knowledge are highly desirable.
This is a unique opportunity to join our agency that is shaping the public sector to deliver the very best services possible for Western Australians now and into the future.
Being part of our Graduate Program means you spend time in 3 or 4 teams during the 12 months, getting experience working on a variety of initiatives, projects and operations at the Commission.
You’ll be involved in work that has impact across the sector such as analysing data to get deep insights into the sector’s workforce, reviewing the essential capabilities for agencies to be high performing and contributing to initiatives to assist our staff.
A key feature of our Graduate Program is on developing your professional knowledge, skills and networks.
We invest in all our people, especially our graduates. In addition to learning from experienced and skilled colleagues, you’ll take part in the Launch program and have the support of a mentor. You’ll also have a personalised performance agreement and development plan that includes enhancing your personal leadership behaviours.
Who are we after?
We value diversity and understand diverse workplaces are more effective and innovative so we encourage people of all backgrounds, including people with disability and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, to apply.
You can request flexible work and leave arrangements, and there are additional employment benefits to help you balance work and other commitments.
