Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals Group (FSFHG) is a part of the SMHS. Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine. Fremantle Hospital is a 300-bed specialist hospital focused on providing high-quality aged care, mental health, secondary rehabilitation, planned surgeries and medical services.

The Clinical Services team is currently seeking applications to recruit staff to fill the following roles: 

Program Support Officer (116331)Provides advice and support to the FSFHG Hospital Acquired Complications (HACs) Reduction Program. Prepares and collates information through administrative support to ensure the HACS Reduction Program are equipped to support clinical staff implement best practice. Manages established relevant databases to support various implementation and improvement projects by the team.

Clinical Documentation Improvement Support Officer (115834)
Provides advice and support to SMHS business units on matters relating to Clinical Documentation Improvement activities. Prepares and collates information through administrative support to ensure the Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist(s) are equipped to meet their obligations in supporting clinical staff improve Clinical Documentation. Financial experience in complex financial mangement environment is essential to this role.

Are you eligible? To be eligible for a permanent appointment to the Western Australian public sector is essential that you are an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status in Australia. To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.

This is a recruitment pool for permanent full time and permanent part time appointments. 

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 30/07/2025
