Graduate Trainee accountant - Full Time Immediate Start

We are a well-established and highly regarded small firm with a strong presence in the restructuring industry. Our team works across both formal corporate and personal insolvency administrations. The work is varied, interesting and challenging. You will follow through the process of a variety of appointments completing investigations of company records and writing reports to creditors. You will develop your understanding of a broad range of businesses and your professional capacity through dealing directly with key stakeholders and government organisations.

The Role:
We are currently seeking a Graduate to join our Melbourne-CBD practice full-time. This is an ideal role for recent University Graduates who have completed their undergraduate studies in Business or for current Graduates who may be interested in transitioning to a role in the insolvency and restructuring industry. Students in their final year are also encouraged to apply as we may be able to offer a transition for a suitable candidate.
No prior insolvency work experience is required as all training will be provided in the course of your employment.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Business. (Accounting, Commerce favourable but not essential)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Efficient typing speed
- Proficient time management skills and ability to meet adapting deadlines;
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite;
- Ability to work in a collaborative working environment
Additionally, it would a bonus to have:
- The intention of commencing / already undertaking CA or CPA studies
- Previous office experience
