We are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Analyst to join our Melbourne based Support Office team in a 6 months Fixed Term Contract. Reporting to the Head of Finance and working closely with the HUGO BOSS Australia management team, this role will be responsible for financial analysis of the retail and wholesale business.
What you can expect:

• Analysis of company performance in order to recommend improvements (e.g. sales, contribution margin, fixed costs, payroll, incentives, net working capital by store and customer, inventory analysis)
• Support in budgeting and forecasting processes, including monthly retail stores daily sales planning
• Prepare company specific reporting including daily sales reports, month-end reporting, payroll reporting, retail store KPI reports etc.
• Support in business plans for new projects and 5 year business plan
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support operational decisions

The Finance Analyst is a key point of contact for the Finance and Operations teams in Australia as well as the Regional Finance team in Hong Kong and the Finance Team of the German Headquarters.
Your profile:

• Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or studying towards CA / CPA
• 3-5 years experience working in a Finance Business Analyst capacity, preferably within a retail/sales environment
• Proven ability to create reports that are suited to the end user, and allow real insights into business performance
• Track record in building and maintaining relationships across all business functions
• Adaptable with the ability to re-prioritise according to business needs
• A genuine commitment to, and focus on delivering customer centric outcomes
• Interest and curiosity in understanding the business, and how the Finance Business Analyst role can add value
• Strong analytical skills, commercial acumen and attention to detail
• Affinity towards IT systems with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Experience using SAP FI/CO is advantageous
• Understanding of SAP Analysis for Office will be highly regarded
