Under the direction of the Communications and Marketing Coordinator (CMC), the Graphic Design Officer (GDO) provides design advice, develops graphic concepts, and produces publications, displays, promotional collateral, signs and digital media.
The GDO is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the BGPA brand in all Graphic Design outputs and takes direction to meet the design requirements for different stakeholders across the BGPA.
In conjunction with the Communications and Marketing Coordinator and other key senior staff, the position plays a key role in the development and implementation of BGPA’s branding and internal and external graphic representation. The role works closely with the Visitor and Community Engagement team to deliver graphics which support strategic marketing initiatives.

Selection Criteria
- Extensive experience, demonstrated artistic talent and proven success as a Graphic Designer from initial creative conceptual design work, to finished artwork and all phases of production.
- Demonstrated experience in the use of industry-standard design software packages such as, but not limited to, Adobe Creative Suite of products, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Demonstrated creative ability in the production of graphic concepts for a wide range of traditional and digital material.
- Applied knowledge of the processes required to produce and print publications and advertising, large format graphics and signage.
- Experience working on multiple-project deadlines for a range of stakeholders.
