Description
- Design and develop packaging concepts for new and existing products.
- Create artwork and layouts for product packaging, including boxes, labels, and inserts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are aligned with brand guidelines and marketing strategies.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on design trends and competitor packaging.
- Prepare and present design proposals and concepts to stakeholders.
- Work with external vendors to ensure high-quality production and execution of packaging designs.
- Revise and refine designs based on feedback from the team and stakeholders.
- Ensure all designs meet regulatory requirements and sustainability standards.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in the beauty or consumer goods industry.
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in product packaging design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Excellent understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout design.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative thinker with the ability to conceptualise and implement innovative designs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
