Touch Football Australia Incorporated (TFA) is the governing body for the sport of Touch Football in Australia. TFA has a strategic alliance with the National Rugby League (NRL) through the Australian Rugby League Commission, hence the sport being known as NRL Touch Football.
Touch Football is a sport that is thrilling, enjoyable and accessible to all; we are Australia’s largest social sport. TFA is responsible for the overall leadership, management, administration, and development of Touch Football across the nation.

About the role
The Graphic Designer is responsible for communicating our brand message and values to participants through the production of graphic design and marketing materials under the guidance and supervision of the Content Producer.
The Graphic Designer is part of the Marketing and Commercial business unit. The successful applicant will support the design needs of the organisation across a range of assets including but not limited to: social media graphics, eDM, organisational reports, marketing collateral and website graphics.
The position is part time (0.6) enabling a flexible working environment. As this role is remote (work from home), you can be based anywhere in Australia to apply.

You are a dedicated visual storyteller, a creative thinker with a knack for innovation and collaboration. You understand that in sport, content reigns supreme. Armed with your toolbox of design skills, you are ready to produce captivating graphics that resonate across all platforms.
Job responsibilities
- Design digital marketing assets including social media graphics, eDMs, online advertising graphics.
- Design and edit of organisational reports, presentation, and collateral materials.
- Create, review and update creative assets for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring brand guidelines are followed under the guidance of the Content Producer.
- Support the marketing and commercial team to develop effective, on-brand content to enhance internal and external functionality, enabling stakeholders access to assets on demand.
- Understand and apply design principles to specific target audiences.
- Work collaboratively and independently on specific design projects or tasks and complete duties as required by the Content Producer.
- Be comfortable working autonomously (ability to focus and complete work with minimal assistance).
Key selection criteria
- Proficiency with Adobe Software including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat.
- Design qualification or ongoing studies in a related field.
- Demonstrated initiative and self-management with proven success in delivering outcomes and the ability to think creatively.
- Knowledge of print and digital design, including file presentation.
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to meet deadlines, and a keen eye for detail.
- Up to date with the latest design trends, digital best practices, AI and technology to bring innovative ideas and solutions.
- Capacity to work outside of normal working hours and undertake travel as required.
- Willing to work under the provisions associated with the Certified Agreement of TFA and abide by the policies of the organisation.
