We are looking for a Graphic Designer for a maternity leave cover.
In this role, you will be covering maternity leave and the wider Marketing and Design team. You will help provide an end-to-end branding and design services.
Your new role
- Produce engaging, dynamic, attractive and customer-focused digital and printed collateral
- Provide advice on best practice design, branding, marketing, and campaign (both traditional and digital) initiatives
- Maintain consistency and alignment with brand style guides across all platforms.
- Use your knowledge of industry best practice to proactively identify ways to improve your reputation and customer engagement via marketing and design.
- Prioritise your daily and weekly workload to ensure projects are delivered in order of priority in a timely manner.
- Ensure internal and external production of marketing and communications collateral is timely, of high quality, complies with the style guides and is within budget.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of style guides, organisational policies, communication and marketing plans, and relevant Divisional and Business Unit plans.
- Contribute to reporting of communication and engagement outcomes.
- Provide a feedback survey to internal clients at the completion of design jobs.
- Maintain excellent customer service with team members, internal and external stakeholders and effectively manage customer expectations.
What you'll need to succeed
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Demonstrated experience producing high-quality outputs using relevant design software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, PowerPoint, After Effects, Photoshop and Canva, working in a Mac environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly in reviewing edits and formatting.
- Ability to produce modern, fresh and attractive branding, including accompanying brand style guides.
- High level of creative and artistic skills, including graphic design, multimedia, illustrations, photography, layout and creative concepts.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in graphic design, or equivalent work experience, 3 - 5 years ideally
Licences, Certifications etc.
- Working rights in Australia
- Recent national police checks within the past 6 months
Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualification in Graphic Design or similar.
