About the role

We are seeking a qualified Greenkeeper to assist in delivering quality sports turf maintenance at a prestigious school in Wynnum.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Site Manager in encouraging a great team culture and leading from the front to deliver quality sports turf and green spaces around the site. This role is fully hands on, and you would be expected to help lead and mentor the team using your previous knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

• Cricket Wicket experience ESSENTIAL
• Line marking experience essential
• Time management skills, organised and reliable
• Effective communication both written and verbal
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Experience with nutrition programs (desirable)
• HS&E white card and a working with children check (or willingness to obtain)

About You

• Certificate III in Sports Turf Management
• Valid drivers' licence
• Relevant experience in plant care and landscaping
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Proactive and able to work independently
