AddressIn this role, you will provide legal support for the Legal & Integrity & Compliance teams for this National Sporting organisation which is enjoying huge growth from the local grassroots to the national level.
You will provide support to the General Counsel, Head of Commercial Legal and the broader Legal and Compliance teams by building processes to ensure smooth running and efficiency. A mix of project management, Executive Assistant, Paralegal and general admin responsibilities leads to a fabulous career opportunity within a high-performing and fun legal team!
About the role:
- Diary, Travel and email management for the General Counsel
- Plan and run team meetings
- Be the first point of contact for outside counsel
- Draft correspondence
- Conduct research, present findings
- Assist counsel with projects and manage timelines /processes and goals
- Assist the Company Secretary with the management of governance meetings (AGMs, Board Committees etc.)
- Coordinate and manage team admin processes
- Liaise with senior management and key stakeholders
- Create processes and systems to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the legal team
- 7+ years of Legal EA/Projects or Paralegal experience
- Experience in the commercial practice area (contracts, compliance/reg)
- Legal, project management and or related qualifications
- Strong organisational skills
- Tech-savvy
- Flexible happy to help approach
- Capacity for national travel for meetings
- Australian citizen or permanent resident
- A love of sport is a great advantage!
