AKD are seeking an experienced and driven individual to join our team in the position of Caboolture Greenmill Team Leader on our Afternoon shift, reporting to the GreenMill Supervisor.
The position requires a person who is ready to take the next step in their career with AKD, who is committed to our people, safety and continuous improvement of our product and processes. The successful applicant will also contribute to the overall success of the business by focusing on quality and training.
With a positive and mature attitude, the incumbent will lead daily activities with a ‘hands on’ approach. This successful applicant will be coordinating people and equipment to achieve high levels of safety, performance, equipment utilisation and quality.
Leading a team of approximately 25 people, it is preferred but not mandatory the applicants have previously worked in a similar timber process manufacturing facility or industrial manufacturing environment.
The ordinary hours of work for the afternoon shift will be 9.5 hour shifts 4 days a week, working (4:00pm and finishing at 2:00am) Monday to Friday. The non workdays are scheduled as per the site roster.
