AddressThe primary role of the Green Wall Maintenance Manager (QLD) for Vertikal Design (Vertikal) is to oversee the ongoing maintenance of Vertikal’s Green Wall installations across the SE QLD metropolitan area.
All necessary tools required to perform the requirements of the role and a fully paid for company vehicle with fuel card and mobile phone will be provided to the successful applicant.
On the job training and professional development will be provided by Vertikal.
The Green Wall Maintenance Manager (QLD) role reports directly to the QLD Construction Manager and the General Manager.
This role would be suitable to someone living in the Southern Brisbane area as our nursery location is in Cornubia.
Requirements & responsibilities within the role are as follows;
- Minimum 3-5 years landscaping experience
- Irrigation experience essential
- Basic plant knowledge essential, and the ability to understand the life cycle replacement required
- Construction white card essential
- A full open driver’s licence is required
- Management experience preferred
- Professional, courteous, prompt and strong verbal and written communication with clients and colleagues required
- Attention to detail and pride in your work
- Weekly reporting of issues and matters that affect Vertikal in SE QLD
- On time submission of reports internally
- Maintenance of existing SE QLD Green Wall installations across both residential and commercial environments
- On site risk assessment, risk management and OHS requirements
- Immediate reporting of any on site risks, injuries or complications concerning yourself, or any other Vertikal staff member
- The know how to trouble shoot issues and problem solve is key
- The ability to work autonomously
- Regional & interstate travel required from time to time

Any working at heights permits /EWP certifications / IRATA ropes training capabilities would be a great asset.
This would be a great role for someone exiting a Cert III in Horticulture, or a reasonably experienced landscape professional.
