Grid Modelling Engineer

About the Company I'm representing an International renewables developer and asset owner in their search for a Grid Modelling Engineer.   About the RoleYou will be joining the grid connection team to support in house modelling (predominantly on PSSE) for new renewable energy projects (wind/PV/BESS/Offshore Wind).

Previous modelling experience is essential (ideally between 2-5 years) and any additional experience with hold point testing will be highly valuable.   Responsibilities Perform PSSE simulations for prospective new sites (wind/PV/BESS) Assist in developing GPS Compliance Assessment and R2 Model Validation Test Plans. Prepare and compile Hold Point reports during the R2 phase for submission to the NSPs and AEMO Assist in negotiation of transmission connection agreements Prepare PSS/E NEM snapshots for operational scenarios Support power system modeling and studies during project phases Support internal due diligence modeling of OEMs power system models Interact with EPC contractors, OEMs, TNSPs, and AEMO during project phases Skills & Experience Electrical Engineering Degree Ideally…
