Positions Available:
Track, Grounds, Fire and Recovery Attendants: Dive into the heart of the action with responsibilities ranging from track inspections to landscape maintenance. If you've got a knack for machinery and a passion for precision, this role is for you!
Multiples roles available: Casual and Fulltime.
Key responsibilities:
- Keep the lines of communication open with management to ensure smooth operations.
- Conduct daily checks of our motor racing circuit to ensure safety and readiness.
- Collaborate closely with the Facilities Manager, lending a hand with repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Take charge of landscaping duties, from maintaining trees and grass to trimming shrubs and bushes.
- Keep our tracks, garages, and walkways pristine by sweeping and cleaning regularly.
- Handle mowing, whipper-snipping, and weeding to maintain a polished appearance.
- Tackle general cleaning and litter collection to uphold our standards of excellence.
- Utilize your mechanical skills to perform basic repairs when needed.
- Take responsibility for maintaining and repairing our irrigation system as required.
- Operate forklifts and trucks safely and efficiently.
- Be ready to spring into action for fire and rescue duties when called upon.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety policies to ensure a secure environment for all.
- Take on additional duties within your skill set.
What skills and experience will our ideal candidate have?
- Previous experience in ground or facilities maintenance is highly valued.
- Demonstrated proficiency with grounds maintenance machinery is essential.
- Hold a current driver's license to facilitate movement around the facility.
- Comfortably perform physically demanding tasks such as bending, reaching, lifting, and climbing.
- Possess keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills to maintain order and efficiency.
- Exposure to pool maintenance and irrigation is considered a valuable bonus.
Maintenance Officer: Keep the gears turning smoothly with prompt issue resolution and top-notch maintenance standards. From minor repairs to inventory management, you'll be the backbone of our facility ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
Casual or Full-time for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities:
- Promptly address issues, investigate their root causes, and execute repairs cost-effectively.
- Maintain our facility to the highest standards through day-to-day maintenance tasks.
- Ensure follow-up on repairs and defects until complete resolution, minimizing downtime.
- Document job lists and repair activities to keep track of maintenance efforts.
- Collaborate in developing an annual preventative maintenance program with the Facilities Manager.
- Liaise with contractors, overseeing access procedures and supervising specific tasks.
- Take on minor painting projects and furniture repairs to uphold our facility's appearance.
- Handle minor plumbing and carpentry repairs efficiently.
- Maintain an inventory of spare parts to facilitate emergency repairs.
- Coordinate the procurement of necessary spares, materials, and tools for task completion.
- Prepare and present minor quotes for approval, demonstrating cost-effective solutions.
