Trade Coast Properties presents a fantastic career opportunity for an experienced grounds maintenance person to join the team. This role ensures the exceptional presentation of the 5 major commercial buildings that Trade Coast own. You will work closely with and report to the Building Manager and Building Owners.

Role & Responsibilities

This role covers all aspects of maintenance to promote the upkeep of the buildings, grounds and in particular, landscape maintenance. The role involves a degree of physical work coupled with a range of ‘handyman/trade’, maintenance skills. A varied skill set is required. 

You'll require an enthusiastic and proactive attitude and a flexible working approach combined with the ability to interact effectively with staff and our Tenants in a team environment, with the willingness to learn and expand your abilities every day.

Your key focus areas in this role is as follows

Undertake duties required to maintain the grounds and assist the park operations department including but not limited to:

• assist with waste management / clean up
• assist with general facility maintenance, up keep and cleaning (i.e. pressure washing etc)
• assist the team with buildings and construction work
• lawn mowing, edging, planting, mulching, weeding
• new gardens and plantings
• maintain and detail the grounds to a high standard, including pruning and maintenance of hedges, flower beds, plants, trees in a neat and tidy way

With the ability to demonstrate skills in the following areas;

• Safe autonomous use of ride on mowers, tractors, and similar vehicles
• Sound interpersonal skills, enabling harmonious and positive relationships with all
• Self-motivated and ability to work in a strong team environment
• Honest, reliable and proactive with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility
• Strong organisational and time management skills
