We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Group Accountant to join our finance team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will suit someone with high level of Financial Accounting experience in a consolidated Group environment.
Starting immediately, the role is full-time Monday to Friday with general working hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm. After the initial training period we also offer flexible working options of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Management and preparation of monthly consolidated results for the Group
- Review of balance sheet reconciliations and support files
- Maintain fixed asset register
- Management of leases (AASB16)
- Management of Group’s insurances
- Being a key member with regards to annual audit and half year audit review
- Budget consolidation supporting files for the Group
- Ad hoc analysis and reporting requirements for the Group
- Liaising with auditors and external tax accountants
- Assist Head of Finance with adhoc duties as well as internal stakeholders
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a Group function
- Accounting degree and CPA/CA qualification is essential
- Strong computer skills with exposure to MS Office Excel
- High attention to detail, ability to assess data and analyse information
- A can-do attitude, excellent communication and written skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and can communicate effectively
- Ability to prioritise, multitask and work to tight deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure
- Working closely with internal key stakeholders to meet tight deadlines
