You will be responsible for the management of 4 of the firm's Trust and controlled money accounts. Reporting to the Trust Accounts Supervisor and working a team of 4, your key duties will include:
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of trust regulations and ensure compliance with firm policies.
- Trust and controlled monies processing, including receipts, payments, investing funds and withdrawals.
- Arranging bank drafts and handling AP, billings and other ad hoc accounting tasks during overflow.
- Ensure accuracy in data input and demonstrate ability to work autonomously without direct supervision.
- Manage practice management and document management systems, striving for continuous improvement.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years Accounts Payable/Trust experience
- Degree in Accounting preferred.
- Exposure to legal environment advantageous.
- Strong Excel Skills.
- You will be enthusiastic and highly motivated.
