We are working with a high-performing Mining services organisation who are seeking to recruit a Group Accountant to join their team and provide strategic direction to the business.
As the Group Accountant you will be responsible for the entire BAU of the finance function while reporting to the Board and supporting the Executive management team in their critical decision-making. By offering insights and advice, you will collaborate with the CFO to optimise financial performance.
The perfect person will come from either a Mining or Construction background, as a Financial or Management Accountant with hands on Asset Management experience.
The successful candidate will have:
- 5+ Years of experience within either the Mining or Construction industry (CA or CPA).
- Experience managing the annual audit and preparing annual financial statements.
- Demonstrated experience in managing an organisation’s accounting, tax, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel. MYOB advantageous
- Asset management
- Consolidated reporting
