Growing Australian Industrial Manufacturing and Distribution business
Responsible for group reporting, consolidation and disclosures
Based in Wollongong, $160k - $180k + Super pro rata for 6 months
Our client is a listed manufacturer of industrial products that has been been successfully supplying the Australian and Asian markets with premium grade materials and metal building products.
This role will be a backfill for the Group Financial Controller who is being seconded onto a business improvement project to streamline systems , processes and performance.
This is a 6-month fixed term contract reporting to the Group Financial Controller but working closely with the CFO, CEO and 3 x Joint Venture Partners.
You will be responsible for preparing the group statutory reporting packs as well as the group consolidated financial and management reporting packs monthly. This role will work very closely with 3 Joint Venture partners, and assist the respective finance leaders in each with the various reporting requirements. A large aspect of this role will be involved with improving the group processes, procedures and systems for Board and Executive reporting, so will leverage your business process improvement capabilities.
You will be CPA/CA qualified with proven experience of managing a group reporting, consolidation and statutory disclosure function within a corporate head office. You will be technically proficient and able to prepare statutory accounts, group management reporting packs, budgets, forecasts and Financial Accounting for a inventory based business. Previous experience of using a tier one ERP (preferably SAP) would be highly desirable.
