Role Overview:
As a Revenue Manager at BWH Hotels, you will oversee a portfolio of properties, executing effective strategies for total revenue management, pricing, yield management, forecasting, and channel delivery. Based at our Sydney head office, you will work within our expanding Revenue Management Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with properties to optimise hotel occupancy, average rate and yield.
- Manage multiple distribution channels, prioritising brand channels over GDS, 3rd party websites, wholesale, corporate contracts, leisure packages, and group management.
- Analyse trends, anticipate demand, and identify opportunities for short, medium, and long-term strategies to meet targets.
- Configure and manage Property Management Systems.
- Forecast occupancy and conduct competitor research.
- Work closely with key departments at Head Office, including Sales & Marketing, Regional Services Managers, Development, Customer Service, and Finance, to enhance the value proposition of properties and the BWH Australasian portfolio.
- Liaise confidently with property stakeholders, including property managers, owners, and BWH International offices.
- Prepare and conduct Revenue Meetings to identify risks and opportunities and implement strategies to maximise results.
Skills and Experience:
- Professional with a strong understanding of revenue management principles.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in hotel operations preferably with Front Office, Reservations, or Revenue experience.
- Proficient in numbers, with excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Familiarity with multiple Property Management Systems.
- Experienced troubleshooter with agility.
- Effective communicator in English with fluent verbal and written skills (additional languages a bonus).
