Group Labour Analyst

Crown Melbourne is currently seeking a Labour Analyst to join and contribute to an experienced and hardworking team. The Group Labour Analyst is responsible for supporting the development, implementation and optimisation of data driven insights and analytics across the organisation, specifically around the organization's workforce efficiency, labour productivity, and overall performance.
This role will collaborate with various departments including Workforce Planning (WFP) and Payroll, to identify opportunities through analysis, enhance operational efficiencies and support strategic initiatives that improve the utilization of labour resources across the organisation.
THE ROLE
- Partner with key business unit stakeholders to provide data driven insights and recommendations to enhance labour productivity and identify areas of improvement
- Develop standards and data collection processes to support robust analytics and reporting pipelines
- Assist in building an enterprise labour analytics function with sound statistical methodology and analytical capability
- Deliver long term labour forecasts and reporting for analytical and business planning requirements
- Use of analytical techniques for the identification and measurement of the magnitude and type of underlying opportunity, which will inform strategy around labour
- Develop reporting to ensure effective labour strategies are developed, implemented, analyzed and revised
- Lead the delivery of Labour reporting and insights suitable for consumption by the wider Executive team and key business units
- 2+ years of experience in an integrated resort and analytics Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity all times
- Proficiency with analytical tools such as SQL, Cognos, etc…
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc)Ability to work with senior stakeholders to produce data driven insights
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline is required (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business, Finance, Commerce, etc
