About the Role:
In April 2022, the NSW Government announced the establishment of temporary housing sites to accommodate the urgent housing needs emerging from the February 2022 storms and floods in the Northern Rivers region of NSW.
NRH was awarded the contract to provide tenancy management and site maintenance across multiple housing sites on behalf of the NSW Government in a number of local government areas in the Northern Rivers. Sites host a variety of housing units to accommodate various household sizes.
Reporting to the Executive Manager, Program Management, Performance and Risk, the Group Manager will be responsible for the delivery of NRH Community Villages program. Leading a dynamic team, the role will oversee day to day operations, motivate and inspire staff, deliver strong contract management, engage with residents and ensure their experience while living in the Village is safe and secure.

About You:
Essential
- Degree level qualification in a human services, project management, business or other relevant and / or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience
- Extensive experience in leading and developing a team to deliver a program of services to people with complex trauma backgrounds
- Sound understanding and demonstrated model of care principles including person centred practice
Preferred
- Demonstrated experience in the social housing sector and homelessness, and a positive history of working with vulnerable people
- Demonstrated experience in delivering a responsive service to people with complex needs
- A commitment to person centred practice, social justice and social inclusion
- Have a current Working with Children Check and a valid National Police Check, or willingness to obtain this
- Possession of an unrestricted Australian driver’s licence.
