ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Tony White Group has a fantastic opening for an enthusiastic, energetic, and talented Group Manager - Finance & Aftermarket to join us in this exciting growth opportunity in our Corporate Office located in Brisbane.
The Group Manager F&I is responsible for overseeing the performance of Finance, Insurance and Aftermarket functions across all of the TWG businesses. Working in collaboration with the Head of Finance and Aftermarket, Dealer Principals, Business Managers and Aftermarket Consultants, you will drive efficiencies to deliver maximum financial returns and meet budget expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise, develop, monitor and performance manage the performance of individual Business Managers and Aftermarket Consultants across TWG and undertake regular individual reviews as well as formalised performance and development meetings
- Provide effective insight and influence to ensure that prudent F&I and Aftermarket commercial practices are established and consistently applied across TWG
- Work with all key stakeholders to Identify business improvement opportunities and implement programs to meet internal and external customer requirements and efficiencies
- Build and maintain excellent working relationships with Manufacturers and Lenders
- Assist Business Managers as required to obtain Finance Company approval on finance deals
- Adhere to all finance company policy requirements, together with all appropriate legal requirements and legislation including the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (NCCP)
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Appropriate Tertiary Qualification in business, business admin or Finance and/or equivalent experience
- Excellent customer service, well developed business acumen and critical thinking skills with the ability to manage budgets and analyse data and compile reports
- A well developed, up-to-date knowledge of the insurance industry, its standards, products and services
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to develop excellent relations with key Group stakeholders to maximise F&I results
- Strong contractual negotiation experience and ability to work with external customers
- Well-developed IT skills, attention to detail and data accuracy
- Excellent time management, administration, organisational and leadership skills
- The capacity to accommodate frequent interstate travel
