We're establishing an enterprise Process Optimisation and automation capability focused on improving speed, quality, efficiency and engagement for our team members and customers.
About the role
Directly reporting to the Head of Technology Transformation, this leadership role is accountable for designing, building and leading a group wide capability focused on Process Optimisation and automating of those processes to realise sustainable cost efficiencies.
Success here would involve giving millions of hours back to our team members and customers through the removal of waste (unnecessary steps and/or processes) and automating what's left be that IT operations, our call centres or accounts payable.
About you & your skills
You are someone who has experience running a small business or as a senior Product Manager and therefore understands how to solve problems, is analytical, manage finances and build a great team preferably within a technology and/or retail environment (although not essential)
You'll also ideally have some (but not all) of the following experience:
Experience in six sigma, lean, or other process re-engineering/optimisation approaches
Strong understanding of business transformation, digital, technology and change delivery in a background such as a business or systems analysis
Proven experience in simplification centred around the customer leveraging people, process and technology (not just tech)
Experience to lead the development & management of innovative artificial intelligence solutions for IT operations (AIOps)
Influential executive/board level interpersonal and communication skills coupled with exceptional engagement skills.
Demonstrating experience of executing through others, specifically creating a common vision and influencing peers towards executing against it as part of a broad transformation program
Proven ability to identify opportunities to leverage technology for greater business efficiency or effectiveness
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise activities in accordance with available resources and business needs
Strong understanding of value creation
Ability to make decisions in the context of the broad strategic directions, and to be able to understand and articulate the implications of emerging technology and social shifts
Understanding of Observability, Automation and ITSM
Familiarity with technologies such as ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Automate/Logic Apps and observability tooling, AppDynamics, Splunk, ThousandEyes, DataDog
