AddressAn established joinery company is seeking a talented Production Manager to join our team. You'll be responsible for overseeing every aspect of our production process, ensuring the delivery of exceptional results for clients - on time, within budget, and according to their exact specifications. This role would also suit candidates with Project Management experience or Production Managers who are interested to explore this field.
Projects predominatley retail focused with some commercial inlcusions.
What you'll be doing:
- Overseeing day-to-day workshop operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient use of resources.
- Managing joinery and shopfitting projects from concept to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Planning and scheduling production to meet deadlines and client expectations, adhering to project timelines.
- Managing a team of joiners and shopfitters, fostering a collaborative and safety-focused work environment.
- Maintaining a high level of quality control throughout the production process.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing new technologies.
- Providing training and mentorship to your team members.
- Reporting on production performance, project progress, and key metrics.
What you'll bring to the table:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in joinery and/or shopfitting production management.
- Proven track record of exceeding production targets while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
- Strong understanding of joinery and shopfitting techniques, materials, and machinery.
- Experience in project management highly desired
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in production planning and scheduling software
