Every day, our teams solve complex problems, the solutions help thousands of our fellow team members succeed and makes millions of customers' lives easier.About the roleA challenging role of a Group Product Manager has risen within the Data and Intelligence division within Coles Group.The primary objective of this role will be to lead the Quarterly Data Review, product planning, and execution throughout the data product lifecycle, incl. gathering and prioritizing product features and customer requirements. Lead the business engagement and develop and own Data Team roadmap as well as carry out research into the data and competitor products and services to inform the right choice of product features and prioritisation.You will also lead the definition and refinement of the product vision, in line with data strategy whilst, working closely with a variety of business stakeholders and technology stakeholders to build the right data platform that ensures benefits and customer satisfaction goals are me. You will also support the introduction and adoption of Lean-Agile delivery processes in Data Team.Partnering with senior stakeholders to build their data capabilities is a key capability as well as articulately communicating the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to stakeholders.Your key responsibilities will include:
- Build and lead the Product Management team with a broad set of experiences in delivering data products and platform capabilities
- Works collaboratively establishing good working relationships engaging and consulting to the business
- Provide input, influence, and communicate innovative solutions that aim to reduce operation cost in long term
- Advisor to Data Strategy and Roadmap
- Assist in the selection of and implementation of new technologies which provide business benefit to the organisation
- Identify opportunities for IT contribution to business improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve systems functionality to address business issues
- Lead and influence key stakeholder at all levels in the implementation and achievement of Coles business outcomes Establish strong & effective relationships with senior stakeholders
- Ensure stakeholder outcomes are prioritised and delivered accordingly
- Minimum of 8 years' experience as a Product Manager of data products in an agile environment
- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Ability to guide and mentor members of the team
- Experience in leading a team including coaching, having difficult conversations, and providing feedback
- High level of flexibility with the ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of business intelligence & analytics applications within corporate environments
- Good understanding of retail domain
- Proven experience and proficiency in all aspects of Information Management life cycle, data management, analytics, information governance, IM architecture, processes, technologies, and methodologies.
- Experience in business change methodologies
- Ability to align business priorities with Data squad capabilities to support business transformation
- Ability to establish roadmaps to leverage Coles Information assets to deliver value that aligns with the business strategies
- Ability to attract, hire, retain and motivate top Big Data, IM/BI/Analytics talent
- Ability to understand business and IT strategy, environment, and trends across multiple functions.

- Tertiary Qualification in Information Technology and/or Business or equivalent industry experience (desirable)
- Demonstrated awareness in applicable IT project management processes

- Excellent strategic thinking with commercial acumen, stakeholder management and strong communication skills
