About the teamCommercial is a large but close-knit group. We bring diversity of thought, backgrounds and experience to every business unit at Coles Supermarkets, Liquor and Coles Local. This is a permanent role partnering closely with the Business General Manager. You will be responsible to deliver the Own Brand Strategy and ensure technical process and ethical compliance requirements are met. You will lead, coach and mentor and team of product developers and technologists to deliver against the innovation plans.
You will also:
• Develop, lead and implement the Coles Brand strategy to structurally drive cost out for the business
• Integrate strategic insight on customer and market trends to develop customer models and segmentation strategies
• Plan, develop and execute new products and drive positive and sustainable growth
• Partner with varied senior stakeholders up to executive level to ensure optimal category strategy is developed
In this new role there is great opportunity to have genuine impact I the work you will do. You will have the ability to make this role your own. You will also have:
• Proven experience as a senior product technologist is essential, ideally technical capability in agronomy of retail fresh produce
• Developed people leadership experience and management of a diverse team
• Proven ability to deliver transformational change
• Exceptional collaborator to be able to build and maintain relationships with farms and varied internal teams
• Experience developing commercial plans to launch and manage products within the portfolio
• Strong track record of leading and executing strategic initiatives and complex programs of work
• Experience leading and developing high performing teams
• Strong interpersonal skills to influence both internal and external stakeholders
